Thanksgiving Holidays!
Happy Thanksgiving Cameron Elementary Teachers, Students and Parents. We are days away from the 2011 Thanksgiving Holiday Break. I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a wonderful family filled holiday. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holdays, maybe because it is the "official" start of the Christmas Season!
We have alot of events and activities planned for the upcoming days and weeks here at Cameron Elementary. I am looking forward to these activities, which allow our students to exhibit their amazing skills and attributes in and out of the classroom as well as in the classroom.
Friday November 18th will be the conclusion of our "Food for Families, Canned Food Drive," and our "Pennies for Patients" cancer fund drive. The students here at Cameron Elementary, as well as the staff and teachers, have done an excellent job of collecting canned food items, and pennies for both of these charities. I am impressed at the out pouring of kindness and support that these students have exhibited these last few weeks. They might be "little kids" but they have "big warm-fuzzy hearts!" I am so very proud of them!
